Well, it is Saturday evening before returning to school after the Winter Break. I am dreading getting back in the grind of things after this wonderful break. I know my own students are dreading it too!
To ease our return on Monday, I am going to use some mazes from my Teachers Pay Teachers store to review some of our previous concepts.
If you haven’t purchased a maze from my store, you may want to visit and see if I have one that will work into your curriculum. If not, contact me and I will see what I can do for you.
Each maze contains on average 20 problems except for Multi-Step Equations. My maze products (non-seasonal) come with two mazes for each concept totaling at least 40 problems. I use one when we are practicing the concept, and then I use the second maze later in the school year as a review of the concept.
If you have not used mazes in your classroom, I have provided a few feedback comments below.
Mazes are self checking and can be used in a variety of ways. My students absolutely love them! Below you will see how several buyers used them in their classroom:
Don’t forget to review the preview file provided for each maze. You can see what type of problems are used to make sure they are what you are wanting for your students.
I hope you all had a wonderful break! Have a great first day back to school!
Until next time……
Hello – Anyone there?
Yes, time got away from me. I am now going to try it again! 🙂
Currently, I am on the much-needed Christmas break. I have a great group of students this year, and having lots of fun with them.
Since my last post – almost a year ago – a lot has happened both personally and professionally. Life happens!
My TPT store has grown a lot, and I am super proud of all that I have accomplished so far. I still have lots of product ideas that I have not had the time to create due to requests for my mazes and color-by-numbers in various seasonal themes. This line of products has consumed all of my free time this year, and I still have more requests to fill. I hope to have all seasonal requests filled by the start of the 2016-17 school year. These take a good bit of time to create and put through the final stages before uploading to my store.
Since January, I have added seasonal products for the following occasions: Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and more Winter/Christmas. I still need to revise a couple of the coloring pages for the Valentine’s Day line, and focus on some products for end of the school year/summer and back to school theme. Once these are added, all requests for mazes and color-by-number will be completed. And then on to the next idea!
Back to School……
Well….I have now returned to the classroom after a much needed break. My school system did not have a planning day scheduled, so both students and teachers returned on the first day….ughh!! It is very difficult to get right back into the grind of things. I would really love to trade a different “off” day for a planning day on our return from the holiday break.
Website Creation Journey/Update:
As an update to my website journey, I have not made any changes or added any other plugins. So far, I am satisfied with my website and don’t plan to make any changes unless I come across something. I am happy to say the whole process of including a free download on my site went well and everything worked. I pinned it to a couple of boards on Pinterest, and I have had a decent amount of page views and downloads considering this site isn’t even a month old. Overall, I am happy!
It’s way past my bedtime, but I still have unit planning to do since I didn’t work on it over the holiday break! 🙁
Until next time…….
